Highway Pothole Repair Policy - Rescinding of Cabinet Decision

Decision Maker: Leader of the County Council

Decision status: Recommendations Approved

Is Key decision?: No

Purpose:

A recommendation to rescind the decision taken by Cabinet on 1 February 2018 to approve a new Highway Pothole Repair Policy.

Decision:

County Councillor Geoff Driver, the Leader of the County Council, and County Councillor Keith Iddon, the Cabinet Member for Highways and Transport, approved the rescinding of the decision taken by Cabinet on 1 February 2018 to approve a new Highway Pothole Repair Policy.

This decision is urgent and cannot await the next meeting of Cabinet on 8 March 2018. The reason for this is that a revised Highway Pothole Repair Policy will be considered by Cabinet at its meeting on 8 March 2018. It is therefore necessary to rescind the original decision taken on 1 February 2018. This decision is therefore being taken on behalf of Cabinet by the Leader of the Council and the Cabinet Member for Highways and Transport in accordance with the provisions of Standing Order 34(1).
