This report relates to the replacement of County Councillor David Smith by County Councillor Aidy Riggott as Lead Member for Cultural Services, and to a revised role and title of the Lead Member for Cultural Services.

Reason for Urgency

This decision is urgent and cannot await the next meeting of Cabinet 8 March 2018. The reason for this is to enable the Lead Member changes including the adjustment to the Special Responsibility Allowance payments to be confirmed and implemented as soon possible.  This decision is therefore being taken on behalf of Cabinet by the Leader of the Council in accordance with the provisions of Standing Order 34(1).

County Councillor Geoff Driver, the Leader of the County Council approved the replacement of County Councillor David Smith by County Councillor Aidy Riggott as Lead Member for Economic Development and Cultural Services with effect from 1 February 2018.
