Purpose:

Final Cabinet Member decision on the proposal to make a prescribed alteration to Trinity Church of England/Methodist Primary School, Buckshaw Village, Chorley by permanently expanding the number of places available from 60 to 90 pupils for reception year in September 2016 and in subsequent reception years, by utilising the second site secured on Buckshaw Village, subject to the granting of planning permission under Part 3 of the Town and Country Planning Act 1990 before 1 September 2016.

 

Decision:

County Councillor Matthew Tomlinson, the Cabinet Member for Children, Young People and Schools :

 

(i)  Considered the information in this report;

 

(ii)  Conditionally approved the proposal to make a prescribed alteration to Trinity Church of England/Methodist Primary School, Buckshaw Village, Chorley by permanently expanding the number of places available from 60 to 90 pupils for reception year in September 2016 and in subsequent reception years, by utilising the second site secured on Buckshaw Village, subject to the granting of planning permission under Part 3 of the Town and Country Planning Act 1990 and the transfer of the held site from Chorley Borough Council; and

 

(iii)Approved that an appropriate statutory decision letter be sent out as specified  under legal requirements to give the reasons for the decision to those who are to be informed of them.
