Decision Maker: Cabinet Member for Highways and Transport
Decision status: Recommendations Approved
Is Key decision?: No
This report recommends the introduction of a
new bus service in East Lancaster which will make use of the Moor
Hospital Section 106 funding contribution.
County Councillor John Fillis, the Cabinet Member for Highways and Transport:
(i) Approved the introduction of the tendered bus service in Lancaster as set out at Appendix 'A';
(ii) Requested that officers undertake the necessary contract procurement process to allow the service to be introduced at the earliest opportunity.
This decision should be implemented immediately for the purposes of Standing Order 34(3) as any delay could adversely affect the execution of the County Council's responsibilities. The reason for this is to ensure that the enhanced bus service provision can be introduced at the earliest opportunity.
