Purpose:

This report seeks approval to the terms of the sale of the former Barrowford Branch Library, Ann St, Barrowford.

 

Decision:

County Councillor David Borrow, the Deputy Leader of the County Council approved the recommendations as set out in the full report.

The report contains information relating to the financial or business affairs of any particular person (including the authority holding that information). It is considered that in all the circumstances of the case the public interest in maintaining the exemption outweighs the public interest in disclosing the information.

 

Following requests from five County Councillors, as set out below, in accordance with the "Call In" procedures, the Chair of the Scrutiny Committee called a meeting to consider calling in the decision.  The Scrutiny Committee met on 17th March 2017 and upon a vote, rejected the request for the Deputy Leader of the County Council to reconsider the decision made.
