The minutes of the meeting held on the 9 April 2019 were agreed as a correct record.

Matters Arising

Minutes:

There were concerns regarding the Highways Act Orders that none of the 65 live files had been closed.

Minutes:

The forum was informed that Legal Services now had 68 live files. Since the last forum they had received 3 new applications and no matter had been closed. The forum was concerned that no files had been closed. It was informed that a lot of time had been spent dealing with district orders.

 

22 applications had not yet been to committee. 8 applications were awaiting Order making. 3 Orders were in the objection period. 2 Orders were awaiting confirmation authorisation. 5 Orders needed to be submitted to the Planning Inspectorate as they had received objections. 2 Orders were awaiting confirmation as they required groundworks to be undertaken before they were confirmed. 26 Orders had been confirmed but were awaiting to be certified fit for use.

 

Regarding Town and Country Planning Act Orders, Legal Services had 3 live files. 2 matters were waiting to be confirmed following further advice from the Rights of Way Team. 1 matter was waiting for instructions on how to proceed.

 

 

5.

Minutes:

Legal Services had 93 live files and members were informed that since the last forum legal services had received 5 new applications and 7 matters had been closed.

 

36 matters were either in the consultation period or were being investigated before going to committee. 3 matters were awaiting Order making. No Order had been made and was in its objection period.

 

47 matters had received objections and would need referral to the Planning Inspectorate. 1 matter was still in negotiation.

 

4 matters had been submitted to the Planning Inspectorate for determination. 1 was awaiting an outcome, 1 was waiting for confirmation to be advertised, 1 was going to Public Inquiry in March and 1 was being dealt by way of written representations and was awaiting outcome. 3 matters were awaiting confirmation.

 

The forum was informed that Legal Services ideally processed the matters when they came in. It was all about prioritising.
