Supported housing contracts have a current termination date of 30th September 2018. We are seeking approval to extend those contracts up to their maximum extension date in the summer of 2019. 08/11/2017 - Lancashire Resilient Route Network

In 2014 the Department for Transport (DfT) published the 'Transport Resilience Review: A Review of the Resilience of the Transport Network to Extreme Weather Events'. One of the Key recommendations was for local highway authorities to identify a Resilient Road Network (RRN) within their wider overall highway network.

The RRN is conceptualised as the minimum road network the county council will strive to be keep continuously open, as far as is practicably possible, in severe weather to protect essential economic activity and provide access to key services. It maintains connection between emergency services, schools, power supply centres and transport infrastructure nodes and it ensures continuity of travel across neighbouring local authority boundaries.

13/09/2017 - Implementation of the Care Act 2014 - Approval of Revised Adult Social Care Policies and Procedures

A comprehensive review of the county council's adult social care policies, procedures and guidance is currently underway and key policy documents have been identified for review and revision as part of a phased programme, as approved by the Cabinet Member for Adult and Community Services on 9 March 2016.

This phased programme continues with the submission of a number of new policy, procedures and guidance documents, as listed in the report.
