13/09/2017 - Implementation of the Care Act 2014 - Approval of Revised Adult Social Care Policies and Procedures

A comprehensive review of the county council's adult social care policies, procedures and guidance is currently underway and key policy documents have been identified for review and revision as part of a phased programme, as approved by the Cabinet Member for Adult and Community Services on 9 March 2016.

This phased programme continues with the submission of a number of new policy, procedures and guidance documents, as listed in the report.

13/09/2017 - Greyhound Bridge – Major Maintenance

Lancashire County Council has made a successful bid for £3.711million to support the Project to restore Greyhound Bridge in Lancaster from Department for Transport's Challenge Fund Tranche 2A in 2017-18.

The award represents 80% of the estimated cost of the project. The remaining 20% will be funded by the county council from the Bridges Capital allocation. The 20% match funding is already in the 2017/18 – Bridges Capital Programme.

The Cabinet Member for Highways and Transport is asked to approve the addition of the £3.711million DfT funding to the 2017/18 – Bridges Capital Programme.

16/08/2017 - Approval of Consultation on the County Council's Revised Non-Residential Care Charging Policy

The Care Act 2014 allows the county council to charge a contribution for non-residential adult care services following a financial assessment.

The report provides details of the revised charging policy and seeks Cabinet approval for a public consultation to take place in 2017, prior to approval and implementation of the final policy.

 

This report was initially submitted as part of the wider report regarding, "Implementation of the Care Act 2014 - Approval of Revised Adult Social Care Policies and Procedures." Details of which were previously published as a Key Decision.
