St Annes Library is widely used by the local community. As well as providing access to traditional reading material it is a community meeting place for many groups. The children’s room and reference library are well used and the bank of PC terminals provides a valuable service for those who have no other means of accessing the Internet. The building itself is a Grade 2 listed Carnegie building and has served the local community for over 110 years. It is an intrinsic part of the town’s heritage.
