Save Fulwood Library from Closure

We, the undersigned, petition the county council to to do all in its power to keep Fulwood Library open to the public. The library provides additional services including the use of computers with free Wi-Fi, a public toilet and public computers with printing and photocopying facilities.

We understand the dire situation that the council is in but Fulwood Library is a key location and it serves a very large area of Preston.

If it were to be one of the 40 libraries to close then there would be residents in Fulwood that would be over 40mins walk away from their nearest public library (Sharoe Green Library).

We wish this petition to continue through the in depth consultation period so residents can show their strength of feeling.
