Operation of Household Waste Recycling Centres and Waste Transfer Stations from April 2018
The contract for the operation of the Council's 15 Household Waste Recycling Centres (HWRCs) expires on 31st March 2018.
Approval is sought for the recommissioning of the service from 1st April 2018, on the basis of the continuation of the current level of provision in terms of network of sites, staffing levels and existing opening hours.
This is deemed to be a Key Decision and the provisions of Standing Order No. 25 have been complied with.
