Cabinet approved a report setting out proposals and funding for the expansion of Ribblesdale High School on 1 February 2018 under the Basic Need programme. The fire safety provisions of the buildings in relation to national guidance have subsequently been reconsidered now that the detailed design for the project is developing and advice has been received from a specialist Fire Consultant. This report provides an update on the fire safety measures to be included within the detailed design proposals, taking into account this information and the consultant's advice.
