Decision Maker: Director of Highways and Transport
Decision status: Recommendations Approved
Is Key decision?: No
The Moss Road Strategy was adopted by Cabinet
in June 2019 to enable the county council to plan capital
investment in the moss roads network and to ensure available funds
are spent to best effect and at that time this was considered to be
by prioritizing preventative treatments.
A review and revision of the strategy has been undertaken.
Following review, it is considered that the focus of capital
maintenance on Moss Roads should be predominantly structural.
This is deemed to be a Key Decision and the provisions of Standing
Order C19 have been complied with.
John Davies, Head of Highways Network Management, took the decision to approve the revised Moss Roads Strategy at Appendix 'A'.
