The procurement for the East Lancashire
Levelling Up Fund (LUF) has been initiated by the successful bid
for funding from the UK Government's Levelling Up Fund. The fund
will facilitate works to improve areas across 4 districts of East
Lancashire including Burnley, Hyndburn, Pendle, and
Rossendale.
The LUF programme will introduce a range of interventions including
Safer, Greener and Healthier Streets and Accessible and Vibrant
Town Centres.
The Procurement Initiative Plan (PIP) is prepared to outline the
proposed procurement route for the programme including details for
the tender preparation and anticipated timescales, evaluation
methodology, the stakeholders involved in the process and the
identification of risks for the procurement for the East Lancashire
Levelling Up Fund. The PIP has been circulated and approved by the
senior stakeholders to approve the tender process prior to work on
the tender commencing.
Andrew Mullaney, Director of Environment and Planning, approved the PIP for the procurement for the East Lancashire Levelling Up Fund.
