Purpose:

The procurement for the East Lancashire Levelling Up Fund (LUF) has been initiated by the successful bid for funding from the UK Government's Levelling Up Fund. The fund will facilitate works to improve areas across 4 districts of East Lancashire including Burnley, Hyndburn, Pendle, and Rossendale.

The LUF programme will introduce a range of interventions including Safer, Greener and Healthier Streets and Accessible and Vibrant Town Centres.

The Procurement Initiative Plan (PIP) is prepared to outline the proposed procurement route for the programme including details for the tender preparation and anticipated timescales, evaluation methodology, the stakeholders involved in the process and the identification of risks for the procurement for the East Lancashire Levelling Up Fund. The PIP has been circulated and approved by the senior stakeholders to approve the tender process prior to work on the tender commencing.
