Purpose:

Sub-contract reactive gully emptying/jetting services are required to respond to reactive reports of gully defects in the Preston and South Ribble districts. Existing contract has expired and is currently in the process of being replaced. It is therefore necessary to engage a contractor off-contract following an exercise to obtain 3 quotes from different contractors.

Decision:

Ridwan Musa, Head of Service, on behalf of the Matt Townsend, Director of Highways and Transport took a decision to approve the placing of an order with CJ Jetz Ltd for gully cleaning work in Preston and South Ribble districts during October 2024.
