Purpose:
Under the Localism Act 2011, local authorities
are required to prepare and publish an annual pay policy statement
that sets out the council's approach to the remuneration of its
chief officers on appointment, subsequent progression and any use
of bonus or performance related pay. This report sets out the
council's proposed pay policy statement for 2025/26 and it must be
approved by Full Council before it is published.

Resolved: - That the proposed pay policy statement for 2025/26, as set out at Appendix 'A' to the report, now presented, be approved.
