Purpose:

Approval is sought for the County Council to enter into an agreement for an obligation on the developer to pay:

1.£2,000 to be paid to the County Council as a contribution towards the cost of carrying out improvement work to footpath FP1404309 running from the northern end of the Site.

 

Rossendale Borough Council's Planning Committee have resolved to approve the application, subject to various conditions and subject to an agreement to cover related matters.

 

Authority to take this decision has been delegated under the Scheme of Delegation to Heads of Service.

 

It is recommended that the Director of Law and Governance Democratic Services is authorised to enter into an agreement under Section 106 of the Town & Country Planning Act 1990 in connection with the proposed development, providing for obligations on the owner or developer of the land to pay a sum of £2,000.
