Minutes: It was noted that after consulting the members of the Sub Committee arrangements had been made for one of the five candidates shortlisted at the last meeting to be interviewed on an alternative date.

Appointment of Independent Investment Adviser - Interviews Minutes: Exempt information as defined in paragraphs 1, 2 and 3 of Part 1 of Schedule 12A of the Local Government Act 1972. It was considered that in all the circumstances of the case the public interest in maintaining the exemption outweighed the public interest in disclosing the information.
In accordance with the process/timings agreed at the meeting on 29th April 2024 the Sub Committee interviewed four shortlisted applicants for the position of Independent Investment Adviser, supported by the Head of Fund and Mr Lane, Investment Consultant from the Fund's Actuary - Mercers.
Resolved: That, having interviewed the four candidates referred to in the report presented, the Sub-Committee defer making a final decision on the appointment of an Independent Investment Adviser to allow a fifth candidate to be interviewed on 16th May 2024.
