07/05/2025 - Approval to Allocate Growing Places Fund Monies to Lancashire Combined County Authority

The Growing Places Fund is a circa £19m resource which passed to the county council when the LancashireLocal Enterprise Partnership was wound-up. The fund is deployed as a revolving loan fund to release commercial development projects in Lancashire. This report seeks approval to allocate this fund to the Lancashire Combined County Authority as part of a wider programme to migrate Lancashire Local Enterprise Partnership resource to the Combined County Authority.

07/05/2025 - 2025/26 Local Transport Grant, Integrated Transport Block and Active Travel Fund Capital Funding: Proposed Apportionment

A report to request approval of the proposed 2025/26 Transport Programme, funded by the Department for Transport's Local Transport Grant (£21,366,946), Integrated Transport Block grant (£6,101,000), and Active Travel Fund (£1,308,493); together with approval that any unspent allocation from the 2024/25 Transport programme, be added to and allocated as part of the 2024/25 programme.

07/05/2025 - Office for Health Improvement and Disparities Substance Use Additional Grants Programme 2025/26

Cabinet is asked to approve and support direct awards to the county council's adult, and young people's substance use treatment providers, and through grants made to other local providers in Lancashire to support the Governments 10 year drug strategy, From Harm to Hope. The additional funding comes via the Drug and Alcohol Treatment and Recovery Grants. The county council's local plans have been agreed by the Office for Health Improvements and Disparities.

07/05/2025 - Supplementary Procurement Report

In line with the county council's procurement rules, this report sets out a recommendation to approve the commencement of the following procurement exercises:

-  Chorley Botany Bay and Hartwood Roundabout

-  Street Lightening Maintenance Framework

-  Community Equipment

 

At the conclusion of the procurement process, any award of contract will be made under Section 9.52 (51) of the county council's Scheme of Delegation to Officers.

07/05/2025 - Proposed Closure of the Sixth Form Provision at Moor Park High School and Sixth Form, Preston

Cabinet is asked to approve Moor Park High School and Sixth Form's proposal to lower its age range from 11-18 to 11-16. If the proposal is approved, the sixth form provision would cease as of 31 August 2026.
