07/02/2024 - Proposed 2024/25 Highways New Start Capital Programmes

This report recommends approval of the addition of the Department for Transport's 2024/25 grant funding allocation for Highway Maintenance, that is £28.811 million, and the confirmed additional funding of a further £3.661m to the highway block of the capital programme. The report also recommends the proposed apportionment of this level of funding and requests approval of detailed programmes of work relating to this funding.

07/02/2024 - Determination of the Home to School Transport Policy - Academic Year 2025/2026

The Home to School Transport Policy is determined annually, to allow parents to consider transport entitlement when applying for a school place. The current policy must be available on Lancashire County Council's website, when preferences are expressed.

10/01/2024 - A582 South Ribble Western Distributor Submission to the Major Road Network Funding Programme

A report detailing the proposals for improvements to the A582 South Ribble Western Distributor programme as part of the Preston, South Ribble and Lancashire City Deal.

 

Cabinet will be asked to approve the local contribution to, and the submission of, an outline business case in support of a funding bid to the Department for Transport’s Major Road Network Programme, and to authorise the Executive Director of Growth, Environment, Transport and Health and s151 Officer, or nominated representative, in consultation with the Cabinet Member for Economic Development and Growth, to finalise the details of the proposition.
