The Scrutiny Committee on 16 September 2011 agreed to establish a task group on arts funding in Lancashire.

At its meeting on 6 July 2012, the Scrutiny Committee received a draft final report of the task group for approval. Subject to amendments as set out in the minutes, the draft final report was approved.

The Scrutiny Committee is due to receive Statutory responses from the Executive and Arts Council England at its meetnig scheduled for 9 November 2012.
