The Scrutiny Committee at its meetings on 16 September 2011 agreed to establish a task group regarding the Fylde Coast Economy Strategy at the request of the Health Scrutiny Committee following on from its meeting in February 2011.
On 29 November 2011, the Health Scrutiny Committee authorised the Health Scrutiny Steering Group to consider and approve the task group's recommendations on the Committee's behalf.
On 13 December 2011, the Health Scrutiny Steering Group approved the final report of the task group. The report was forwarded to NHS Blackpool for a response.
On 17 January 2012, the final report of the task group was presented to the Health Scrutiny Committee for information.
It is hoped that a response from NHS Blackpool will be presented to the Health Scrutiny Committee in June/July 2012.
