At the request of the former Adult Social Care and Health Overview and Scrutiny Committee the former Overview and Scrutiny Management Committee agreed to establish the task group on 11 September 2009.
The final report of the task group was presented to the former Adult Social Care and Health Overview and Scrutiny Committee. In supporting the recommendations of the task group, the Committee agreed that the report be sent to the Cabinet Member for Adult and Community Services requesting an initial response within three months and a full response in six months. It was also agreed that the report be sent to the relevant partners for them to provide a response in six months.
On 11 January 2011, the Health Scrutiny Committee received the Executive response. However, consideration of the report was deferred until the next meeting due to insufficient time.
At its meeting on the 5 April 2011, the Health Scrutiny Committee received and noted the response.
