On 14 September 2012, the Scrutniy Committee agreed to establish a task group on the issue of Care Complaints. The purpose of the task group would be to review the system and procedures around making complaints to/about residential care providers. It was hoped that the establishment of a task group on this issue would increase the confidence of care home residents and their families in the complaints process.
