Purpose:

This report sets out the current arrangements and future proposals for the commissioning of Primary Care (General Practitioners and Pharmacies) and requests a direct award of contracts on the grounds set out in the report.

This is deemed to be a Key Decision and the provisions of Standing Order No 25 have been complied with.

 

Decisions:

The Committee considered a report to the Cabinet Member for Health and Wellbeing and the Deputy Leader of the County Council respectively, on the future proposals for the commissioning of Primary Care (General Practitioners and Pharmacies) and the direct award of contracts for the reasons set out in the report.   

 

Resolved: - That the recommendations set out in the report to the Cabinet Member for Health and Wellbeing and the Deputy Leader of the County Council respectively, be noted and that no additional comments or suggested alternative recommendations be made.
