Purpose:

This report recommends revisions to the tendered bus service network in Ribble Valley which will make use of a Ribble Meadows Development Section 106 funding contribution to extend the tendered bus service in the Henthorn area of Clitheroe and which would also facilitate a bus service link for Sabden.

 

This is deemed to be a Key Decision and the provisions of Standing Order No 25 have been complied with.

 

Decisions:

The Committee considered a report to the Cabinet Member for Highways and Transport recommending revisions to the tendered bus service network in Ribble Valley.

 

It was noted that a Section 106 funding contribution in respect of the Ribble Meadows development would be used to extend the tendered bus service in the Henthorn area of Clitheroe which would also facilitate a bus service link for Sabden.

 

Resolved: - That:

 

(i)  The recommendations set out in the report to the Cabinet Member for Highways and Transport be noted, and that no additional comments or suggested alternative recommendations be made;

(ii)  Officers be thanked for their work in bringing forward the proposals which would facilitate a bus service link for Sabden.
