National Productivity Investment Fund - Approval to Appoint Consultants

Decision Maker: Deputy Leader of the County Council

Decision status: Recommendations approved

Is Key decision?: No

Purpose:

This report sets out recommendations to appoint Consultants to provide support in bid preparation in relation to the Chancellor of the Exchequer's 2016 Autumn Statement announcing a new National Productivity Investment Fund.

Decision:

County Councillor Albert Atkinson, the Deputy Leader of the County Council and County Councillor Keith Iddon, the Cabinet Member for Highways and Transport approved the recommendations as set out in the full report.

This decision should be implemented immediately for the purposes of Standing Order 34(3) as any delay could adversely affect the execution of the County Council's responsibilities. The reason for this is that robust bids cannot be developed by 30 June 2017 submission date without consultancy support.

The full report is not available for publication as it contains exempt information as defined in Paragraph 3 of Part 1 of Schedule 12A to the Local Government Act 1972. The report contains information relating to the financial or business affairs of any particular person (including the authority holding that information).
