County Councillor Matthew Tomlinson considered and rejected a Local Member Grant to St Catherine's Hospice towards the cost of curtains, bedspreads and throws.
County Councillor Tomlinson advised whilst a number of districts and divisions have been mentioned as directly benefiting from the work of the organisation, the application does not provide specific evidence or details for the chosen 4 divisions in terms of direct benefit for residents. In light of this, unfortunately on this occasion he will not be able to support this application.
