Request for contract extensions to Adult Mental Health Community Restart and Social Inclusion Services contracts.
This is deemed to be a Key Decision and the provisions of Standing Order No. 26 have been complied with. Compliance with Standing Order No. 25 was impracticable because alternative provision/capacity within other existing contracts was being explored.
The Cabinet approved the recommendation as set out in the report.
This decision should be implemented immediately for the purposes of Standing Order 35 as any delay could adversely affect the execution of the county council's responsibilities. The reason for this is that it is essential that continuity of service provision is guaranteed by effecting extensions to the contracts prior to their expiry.
