(Exempt information as defined in Paragraphs 1 and 3 of Part 1 of Schedule 12A to the Local Government Act, 1972.  It was considered that in all the circumstances of the case the public interest in maintaining the exemption outweighed the public interest in disclosing the information)

The Committee conducted further interviews for senior officer posts under the Council's new employee structure.

Resolved: 

1.  That, subject to no objections being received from the Cabinet, the Committee proposes to make an offer of appointment to senior officer positions as follows:

i.  Steve Browne - Corporate Director Commissioning and Deputy Chief Executive

ii.  Louise Taylor - Corporate Director Operations and Delivery

iii.  Eddie Sutton - Director Development and Corporate Services

iv.  Ian Young - Director Governance, Finance & Public Services

2.  That, subject to no objections being received from the Cabinet in respect of the proposed appointment at 1iv above, the Urgency Committee, acting on behalf of the Full Council, be recommended to agree to the appointment of Ian Young as the Council's Monitoring Officer in his new position; a role he previously held as County Secretary & Solicitor.
