It was reported that the Global Renewables Lancashire Operations Ltd standard terms and conditions of employment entitled employees to a pay review in July of each year. However, due to the timing of the Company's transfer to the County Council implementation of this year's review was postponed pending approval by the Company's new Board of Directors.

 

On 23 October 2014 the new Board of approved the Company's proposed pay review and requested that final approval for its implementation be sought from the County Council.  The Chair agreed that this item be dealt as a matter of urgent business to enable the pay review to be determined.

 

The Committee considered a report on the implementation of the 2014 pay review for Global Renewables Lancashire Operations Limited employees.

 

Resolved:  That the implementation by Global Renewables Lancashire Operations Limited of the 2014 pay review, as presented at Appendix 'A', be approved and backdated to 1 July 2014.
