Purpose:
This report presents an application from an
organisation requesting £636.75 to deliver a series of
commemorative events in line with national and international events
for the 80th anniversary of D-Day from the Champion for Armed
Forces and Veterans Budget.
Decision:
The Democratic and Member Services Manager, following consultation with County Councillor Alf Clempson, Champion for Armed Forces and Veterans, approved a Champions Grant application of £636.75 to Wrea Green D-Day 80th Anniversary Committee towards the cost of their commemorative events.
