Decision details

Lancashire County Council (Lancaster Road, Knott End-on-Sea, Wyre Borough) (Revocation, Restriction of Waiting, Limited Waiting and Goods Vehicle Loading) Order 202*

Decision Maker: Director of Highways and Transport

Decision status: Recommendations Approved

Is Key decision?: No

Purpose:

The revocation of the limited waiting area is necessary to aid in the creation of a Zebra crossing arrangement.

The proposal also revokes and reinstates the existing No Waiting at Any Time and Limited Waiting restrictions at this location. This is to tidy up the existing order so that it matches the restrictions that are on site and to allow for effective enforcement.

In addition, a Goods Vehicle loading bay will be introduced to facilitate operatives serving the premises known as the Co-Op, this will minimise the risk of loading and un-loading in the carriageway.

Formal consultation was carried out between 6th December 2023 and 3rd January 2024 with No Objections.

Decision:

Peter Bell, Regulation and Enforcement Manager, approved the decision set out in the report.
