Purpose:
Lancashire County Council has been approached by Lancashire North Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) to provide social care support within a residential setting at Altham Meadows, Morecambe. This provision will be used for people who require intermediate care to avoid hospital admission or to support timely discharge.
The costs of this service will be provided by Lancashire North CCG for a period of two years.
Decision:
County Councillor Tony Martin, the Cabinet Member for Adult and Community Services approved the proposal to develop a social care support service at Altham Meadows, Morecambe in partnership with Lancashire North CCG.
