Decision details

This report provides an update of the forecast outturn Financial Position for 2017/18 on revenue as at 30 September 2017, and the County Council's updated Medium Term Financial Strategy for the period 2018/19 to 2021/22. The report also sets out budget proposals for Cabinet to consider.

The Cabinet approved recommendations (i), (ii), and (iii) as set out in the report while recommendation (iv) has been amended as follows:

(iv) Approve the budget proposals CORP 001 – Vacancy factor and CORP  003  – Terms and Conditions as set out at Appendix D for the purposes of consultation, where necessary, with the recognised Trade Unions, the outcome of the consultation to be reported back to Cabinet at a future meeting.
