Purpose:

Following investigations and a public consultation undertaken in response to requests being received from local Members and residents, a number of speed limit reductions on the roads detailed in the report are proposed to improve road safety for road users and local communities.

 

This is deemed to be a Key Decision and the provisions of Standing Order No 25 have been complied with.

 

Decision:

County Councillor John Fillis, the Cabinet Member for Highways and Transport approved the proposals for the introduction of reduced speed limits on the roads detailed in the report and as set out in the schedule and plans attached at Appendix 'A'.
