Cabinet received a report noting that the County Council had been successful in its bid for £3.711million from the Department for Transport's (DfT) Challenge Fund Tranche 2A in 2017/18, to support the refurbishment of Greyhound Bridge in Lancaster. It was reported that the award represented 80% of the estimated cost of the project, with the balance to be funded from the previously approved 2017/18 Bridges Capital allocation.

Resolved: That the addition of the £3.711million Department for Transport Challenge Fund award to the 2017/18 Bridges Capital Programme be approved.
