Joint Health Committee with Cumbria
Members of the public are welcome to attend our meetings to watch them in person at any of the venues across the County. Purpose of committee
The Cumbria and Lancashire Joint Health Scrutiny Committee meets on an ad hoc basis. Agendas and minutes of meetings are hosted on Cumbria County Council's website.
The purpose of the Joint Committee is to discharge the health scrutiny functions of Cumbria and Lancashire County Councils in relation to any proposals made by the University Hospitals of Morecambe Bay NHS Foundation Trust (UHMBT) regarding any cross boundary substantial variations in service provision as they arise.
