Appointment of Cabinet, Lead Members, Champions and Other Positions, Cabinet Member Responsibilities, and the Disestablishment of Cabinet Committee and Other Groups

 

 

26/05/2017 - Appointment of Cabinet, Lead Members, Champions and Other Positions, Cabinet Member Responsibilities, and the Disestablishment of Cabinet Committee and Other Groups

County Councillor Geoff Driver, the Leader of the County Council approved:

 

(i)  the appointment of the Cabinet, Lead Members, Champions and members to other positions, and the areas of responsibility, as set out in this report and at Appendix 'A'; and

 

(ii)  the disestablishment of the following:

 

·     Cabinet Committee on New Schools

·    Cabinet Fairness for All Working Group

·    Cabinet Working Group for the Third Sector

·    Cabinet Working Group on Bus Services

·    Cabinet Working Group on Prevention and Early Help Services

·    Cabinet Working Group on Energy and Environment

·    Cabinet Working Group on the Care and Urgent Needs Support Scheme

 

This decision should be implemented immediately for the purposes of Standing Order 34(3) as any delay could adversely affect the execution of the County Council's responsibilities including decision making.
