Proposed 20mph Speed Limit Amendment Order, Larches Estate (Various Roads), Preston, Preston City

Approval is sought for the introduction of a 20mph Speed Limit Amendment Order within the Larches Estate, Preston, in order to remove any potential ambiguities in the information contained in the original Order and to ensure consistent wording in 20mph Speed Limit Orders throughout Lancashire.

 

The original Order was introduced as part of the 20mph pilot scheme within the Larches Estate which was sealed in July 2010.

 

Authority to take this decision has been delegated to the Executive Director for the Environment by the Cabinet Member for Highways and Transport.

 

This is deemed to be a Key Decision and the provisions of Standing Order No 25 have been complied with.
