Decision Maker: Leader of the County Council
Decision status: Recommendations Approved
Is Key decision?: No
Due to the rate of carriageway failure at
Derby Street, Poulton this report requests approval to undertake
urgent repairs to halt further deterioration that could
significantly increase the cost of repair and increase the duration
of the road closure required to undertake the repair if not
addressed immediately.
County Councillor Geoff Driver, the Leader of the County Council, and County Councillor Keith Iddon, the Cabinet Member for Highways and Transport, approved the recommendation as set out in the full report.
This decision should be implemented immediately for the purposes of Standing Order 35 as any delay could adversely affect the execution of the County Council's responsibilities. The reason for this is to enable the urgent repairs to be undertaken as set out in the report.
