Cabinet considered a report presenting amendments to the approved Highways and Transport Capital Programmes in order to meet emerging priorities and to respond to some unanticipated service demands. The report included the addition of a £7.942 million award from the Department for Transport to address five local roads in Lancashire where the risk of fatal accidents and serious collisions was highest.

Resolved: That the proposed amendments to the Highways and Transport Capital Programmes be approved.
