The task group was established by the former Overview and Scrutiny Management Committee at its meeting on 15 January 2010.
The final report of the task group was presented to the Scrutiny Committee on 8 October 2010. In supporting the recommendations of the task group the Committee requested that the report be presented to the Cabinet Member for Adult and Community Services and that a response to the recommendations be provided in six months.
On 21 January 2011, the Scrutiny Committee received and noted the Executive's interim response.
On 8 April 2011, the Scrutiny Committee noted and endorsed the proposed actions as set out in the final Executive response.
