Purpose:
The Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) Home to School Transport policy was last updated in 2013/14. Steps have now been taken to review and update this policy, which resulted in the development of a draft Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) Home to School Transport Policy. Cabinet gave approval for wider consultation of this draft policy on 10 June 2021. This report provides a summary of the results of this consultation and seeks approval to implement this policy from 1 September 2021.
This is deemed to be a Key Decision and the provisions of Standing Order C21 have been complied with.
