Purpose:
This report outlines the county council's
capital bid to the Department for Education to establish a
regulated solo/dual home for children with the most complex needs,
and sets out proposals for the capital investment that would be
required for match funding should the bid be successful.
Decision:
The Leader of the County Council and the Cabinet Member for Resources, HR and Property (Deputy Leader) approved the recommendation as set out in the report.
This decision should be implemented immediately for the purposes of Standing Order C29(1) as any delay could adversely affect the execution of the county council's responsibilities. The reason for this was set out in the report.
