Attached at Appendix 'A' is an application from Hyndburn Cultural Association requesting £350 from County Councillor Munsif Dad BEM JP Local Member Grant budget towards hosting an event to promote their services to the young and older people within the Spring Hill wards of Accrington, and to highlight all their services available.

The Leader of the County Council and Cabinet Member for Community and Cultural Services considered and approved a Local Member Grant of £350 from County Councillor Munsif Dad BEM JP Local Member Grant budget towards hosting an event to promote their services to the young and older people within the Spring Hill wards of Accrington, and to highlight all their services available

This decision should be implemented immediately for the purposes of Standing Order C29 as any delay could adversely affect the execution of the County Council's responsibilities.  The reason for this is to ensure the smooth operation of the Local Member Grants Scheme and that there is no delay in the applicant receiving the funding (if approved).
