This report sets out a
recommendation, following completion of a tender process conducted
in accordance with the County Council's standing orders, to approve
the award of a contract for the delivery of the county-wide
Children and Young People's Substance Misuse Service.
It is intended that the contract will run for an initial period of
three years, with an option to extend for two years, with a further
option to extend for an additional two years. However, if it so
chooses, LCC may extend the contract by any number of defined
periods subsequent to the initial three years, provided that the
total maximum duration of the contract does not exceed seven
years.
The total budget allocation for this service is
£7.7m.
