A contribution to the solution to reduce emissions from the county council's fleet of vehicles to improve the environment in Lancashire and lower the carbon footprint of the county council, is the adoption of Electric Vehicles and other Zero Tailpipe Emission Vehicles within the fleet.
There is however an initial high cost of Electric Vehicle's and other Zero Tailpipe Emission Vehicles that needs to be considered and accounted for.
This is deemed to be a Key Decision and the provisions of Standing Order C19 have been complied with.
