Ribblesdale High School

Following a series of statutory consultations in 2021, Cabinet gave approval to extend the age range at Ribblesdale High School, Clitheroe, to provide additional places for pupils aged 4-16 years. This will be achieved by providing 210 primary places on the neighbouring Higher Standen Farm site in a new building, commencing with an intake of 30 reception pupils for September 2023.

This is deemed to be a Key Decision and the provisions of Standing Order C21 have been complied with. Compliance with Standing Orders C19 and C20 was not possible due to the timescale for delivery of the project being challenging and whilst the additional cost is being considered the contractor is at risk of losing the slot held with the modular building supplier for manufacture.
